Friday Night BONFIRE---October 23,2020   
         
🔥Welcome to the FRIDAY NIGHT BONFIRE. 🔥   
   
Good evening all you beautiful NOPEsters! Dave L. here!! Well, Friday night!! That's the end of the work week for many folks, and here on NOPE Island at the nightly Bonfire, we like to cut loose and party! Today is NATIONAL BOSTON CREAM PIE DAY, and the Cabana girls under Svens watchful eye have been hard at it all day mixing and baking and decorating a lot of BOSTON CREAM PIES for all of us NOPEsters! However, did you know that there is no pie in BOSTON CREAM PIE?? Really!! BOSTON CREAM PIE is actually a layer cake, with usually vanilla pudding between the cake layers, and after the cake is assembled and cooled from baking, a chocolate glaze is poured onto the cake and allowed to run down the sides!! And we have plenty of cake for you tonight!! Have as little or as much as you want!!  Of course, all your favorite ice cold beverages are available at the Tiki Bar as well!  So, ENJOY!! 
   
Tonight and every night I encourage everyone — whether you have 1, 2, 20, 200, 20,000 or 200,000 unsmoked cigarettes to add to the fire — to join us here.   
   
Every bonfire night you can also throw any worries or problems into the fire too. That was part of our very own Q-Angel, Mary (tillietoiler) Merrey’s wish when she started the bonfire. We carry the bonfire tradition on in her memory. Please read about the history of the bonfire below.    
   
🌴While you’re here, feel free to wander around NOPE Island. If picnic fare isn’t for you, there is an amazing buffet and tasty drinks of all kinds at the Tiki Bar and you’ll probably find other NOPEsters there to chat with throughout the evening. For a quieter evening, head on down to the beach, grab a lounge chair, and watch the dolphins.   
   
🔥 Newbies and everyone else, shout out your anniversaries and any milestones you’re celebrating. We love to celebrate those important days. And remember, it's because of each of you that we are here!   
   
Methods of hauling your unsmoked cigarettes: 001-500.............tall kitchen trash bags; 501 to 999..............black yard size trash bags; 1,000 to 9,999.............wheel barrows; 10,000 to 49,999............brand new dump truck in your choice of colors; 50,000 to 99,999..................a train; 100,000 to 249,999...................a barge; more?.....get creative!   
   
Now if you’re ready, let’s get this fire started with the only lighter allowed on NOPE Island, the golden lighter brought to the original bonfires by Mary Merrey/tillietoiler herself.   
   
And remember Tillie’s one request is to KEEP IT CLEAN!!
