Friday Night BONFIRE---October 16,2020  

      

🔥Welcome to the FRIDAY NIGHT BONFIRE. 🔥  
  
Good evening all you beautiful NOPEsters! Well, Friday night!! That's the end of the work week for many folks, and here on NOPE Island at the nightly Bonfire, we like to cut loose and party!! To get ready for the weekend!! Tonight here on the Island it is CHILI NIGHT!! Sven and I have been cooking all day, on 3 separate fires! We have Meekly Mild....Wickedly Wild....and for those brave enough to try, we have a pot Sven calls NUCLEAR EXPLOSION!! YOU CAN TRY 1 OR 2, OR ALL 3 IF YOU DARE!! But, I stuck a spoon into the NUCLEAR EXPLOSION kettle for a sample, and the darn thin MELTED and twisted!! We have sausage cornbread to go along with the chili, and even a limited supply of weiners and buns if you prefer a chili dog!! Of course, all your favorite ice cold beverages are available at the Tiki Bar as well! And, we have plenty of indigestion aids available should the need arise!! So, ENJOY!!
  
Tonight and every night I encourage everyone — whether you have 1, 2, 20, 200, 20,000 or 200,000 unsmoked cigarettes to add to the fire — to join us here.  
  
Every bonfire night you can also throw any worries or problems into the fire too. That was part of our very own Q-Angel, Mary (tillietoiler) Merrey’s wish when she started the bonfire. We carry the bonfire tradition on in her memory. Please read about the history of the bonfire below.   
  
🌴While you’re here, feel free to wander around NOPE Island. If picnic fare isn’t for you, there is an amazing buffet and tasty drinks of all kinds at the Tiki Bar and you’ll probably find other NOPEsters there to chat with throughout the evening. For a quieter evening, head on down to the beach, grab a lounge chair, and watch the dolphins.  
  
🔥 Newbies and everyone else, shout out your anniversaries and any milestones you’re celebrating. We love to celebrate those important days. And remember, it's because of each of you that we are here!  
  
Methods of hauling your unsmoked cigarettes: 001-500.............tall kitchen trash bags; 501 to 999..............black yard size trash bags; 1,000 to 9,999.............wheel barrows; 10,000 to 49,999............brand new dump truck in your choice of colors; 50,000 to 99,999..................a train; 100,000 to 249,999...................a barge; more?.....get creative!  
  
Now if you’re ready, let’s get this fire started with the only lighter allowed on NOPE Island, the golden lighter brought to the original bonfires by Mary Merrey/tillietoiler herself.  
  
And remember Tillie’s one request is to KEEP IT CLEAN!!
